Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a senior-level SEO Strategist to provide hands-on support for SEO research, execution, QA, and performance monitoring. You will partner with Product and Engineering to translate SEO strategy into actionable requirements and drive optimization across technical, content, and search performance, including AI-driven experiences.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, ongoing optimization, and staying current with Google updates and AI trends.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with technical SEO, on-page SEO, off-page SEO, and SEO analytics and reporting.
• Experience performing SEO audits and recommendations independently.
• Ability to work directly with Product and Engineering teams.
• Experience translating SEO strategy into technical requirements.
• Strong understanding of crawlability, indexing, site architecture, and search performance measurement.
• Hands-on experience with SEO performance monitoring and reporting.
• Preferred: Experience with AI Search and Generative Engine Optimization, measuring SEO impact across AI-powered search experiences, and familiarity with evolving search platforms, SERP changes, and AI-driven search trends.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical SEO audits and ongoing site health assessments.
• Perform SEO QA for Engineering and Product initiatives before and after launch.
• Review requirements, designs, and implementations for SEO impact.
• Execute keyword research and search intent analysis.
• Conduct competitor and SERP analysis.
• Develop on-page SEO recommendations including titles, headings, metadata, internal linking, and content optimization.
• Analyze site architecture, crawlability, and indexation.
• Monitor Googlebot crawling and indexing behavior.
• Identify opportunities to improve rankings, traffic, and organic visibility.
• Evaluate SEO implications for new page types and site experiences.
• Conduct backlink and off-page SEO analysis.
• Measure post-launch performance and provide reporting.
• Build recurring SEO dashboards and performance reports.
• Support SEO testing and experimentation initiatives.
• Stay current on Google algorithm updates, AI search trends, and SEO best practices.
