Job description

Our client is seeking a Remote Sensing Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience to be part of our team in Lakewood, CO or Huntsville, AL.

Responsibilities

• Manages remote sensing project life-cycle, from proposal development and scoping to final delivery and closeout
• LiDAR and photogrammetry background in both office and manned flight operations
• Perform quality control of remote sensing activities and project deliverables
• Work with company Market & Operational Leaders with a primary focus on business development and sales in remote sensing, and to help grow geospatial services for the firm
• Responsible for the growth and profitability of the company
• Assist in the development and execution of strategic operational goals and KPI’s
• Plan, implement, and manage the overall long-term business success strategy
• Work with the other senior leaders to identify capital investments, strategic alliances, key hires, acquisitions, and growth opportunities
• Mentor, manage, and train field and office associates
• Perform work safely and effectively

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with remote sensing projects
• Excels at networking, negotiating, and strategic and critical thinking
• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field highly preferred
• Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills
• Must have basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
