Job summary

High Moon Studios is seeking a Senior Writer to join our team on a temporary basis, to help craft immersive narrative for AAA titles. You will work with the Creative Director and cross-functional teams to shape dialogue, cinematic text, and in-game storytelling, with a focus on agile collaboration and fast iteration.

The role lasts about 11 months and is open to remote work within the United States. You should bring 8+ years in game writing and a proven track record on shipped titles.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in the games industry working in a writing or narrative design capacity, with multiple shipped titles in the AAA console / PC space.
• Screenplay or game writing experience.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative, iterative, and agile process with receptiveness to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Write, review, and edit dialogue and text for cinematics, in-game scenes, game assets, UI and related materials.
• Collaborate with designers, engineers, artists, producers, and animators to tell a world-class game narrative.
• Research subjects to ensure authentic storytelling.
