Job summary

Gallagher Bassett seeks a skilled Claims Adjuster to join our team in New York. You will investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex workers' compensation claims, applying analytical thinking to make informed decisions and bring claims to resolution.

The role interacts with clients, claimants, and internal teams to deliver effective solutions. Licensed in required states and with at least five years of related claims experience, you will support a high-volume operation in a remote-friendly

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related claims experience.
• Licensed and/or certified in all states in which claims are being handled.
• High school diploma required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Knowledge of workers' compensation claims processes.

Responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex workers' compensation claims applying your analytical skills to make informed decisions and bring claims to resolution.
• Work in partnership with our clients to deliver innovative solutions and enhance the claims management process.
• Think critically, solve problems, plan, and prioritize tasks to optimally serve clients and claimants.
• Interact with various parties involved in the claim process to ensure effective communication and resolution.
