Placements24 is seeking a Senior Web Designer & Developer to join their fully remote US team. You’ll design, build, and maintain high-performing websites and web apps, balancing aesthetics with robust code from concept to deployment.

You’ll work with a distributed team, translate UI/UX wireframes into clean, accessible interfaces, optimize performance, and stay current with web trends. A strong portfolio and remote-friendly collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Web Designer & Developer with a strong portfolio.
• Expertise in front-end technologies HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript ES6+ and frameworks (React/Angular/Vue).
• UI/UX design tooling proficiency (Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD).
• Back-end basics (Node.js/Python/PHP/SQL/NoSQL) considered a plus.
• SEO best practices, WCAG accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with Git and remote collaboration.
• Strong communication and ability to manage multiple projects independently.

• Proficiency in UI/UX design principles and tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Experience with back-end technologies and databases (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP, SQL, NoSQL) is a strong advantage.
• Understanding of SEO best practices, web accessibility standards (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
• Experience with version control systems like Git.
