Job summary

TrendAI is seeking a Senior/Staff vulnerability researcher to join its Zero Day Initiative team. You will analyze, reverse engineer, and exploit vulnerabilities, producing actionable intelligence for TrendAI products and security research publications.

The role involves collaboration with sales/marketing, speaking at conferences, and publishing white papers and blog content. We welcome candidates who can operate at Staff or Principal levels and who are committed to advancing AI security.

Qualifications

• TCP/IP and networking fundamentals
• Static and dynamic reverse engineering across multiple architectures
• Experience describing vulnerabilities and attack methods
• Ability to produce reliable exploits for a range of vulnerabilities

Responsibilities

• Research vulnerabilities across software products
• Reverse engineer protocols, file formats, and software
• Develop and verify proof-of-concept exploits
• Produce reports describing vulnerabilities and attack vectors
• Monitor publications and emerging threats in security
• Develop and improve automation tools for vulnerability research
• Collaborate with other researchers on analysis and reporting
