Qualifications

• 5+ years in operational threat intelligence, incident response, security research, or cyber investigations.
• Proficient in Python or Go and SQL for data analysis, scripting, or tooling development.
• Ability to translate threat analysis into clear briefs for technical and executive audiences.
• Proven track record of independent threat identification and low-oversight investigations.
• Strong OSINT capabilities and responsible use of generative AI.

Responsibilities

• Automate tracking and analysis of threats targeting Coinbase customers, employees, products, and infrastructure.
• Present intelligence to stakeholders, partners, and executives to influence decisions.
• Model and curate threat landscape within Vertex Synapse and improve analytic quality.
• Cultivate relationships in Threat Intelligence communities to broaden access to information.
• Handle high-volume intelligence requests with timely, accurate reporting.
• Serve as SME on cyber threats facing Coinbase, crypto, and financial industries.
