Job summary

DecisionPoint Corporation is seeking a Senior Security/Threat Engineer to lead enterprise threat monitoring, analytics, and incident response across a DoD-aligned environment. You will oversee SCAN operations, SIEM tuning, and threat hunting for secure mission systems in a fully remote role.

The position requires a Top Secret clearance, 10+ years in cybersecurity, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of cybersecurity experience including threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise threat monitoring and analytics functions.
• Oversee ACAS/Nessus scanning operations and remediation coordination.
• Manage SIEM alerting, log correlation, and analytic rule development.
• Conduct threat hunting to identify anomalous activity and indicators of compromise.
• Validate STIG implementation and patch compliance across systems.
• Develop detection rules, dashboards, and analytics to reduce dwell time.
• Support incident response including triage and containment.
• Provide risk-based recommendations to engineering teams.
• Produce threat intelligence summaries and vulnerability reports.
• Coordinate with cloud engineers and DevSecOps to maintain secure posture.
