You will work with an accounting-minded team, using UltraTax CS and related tools. The role blends deep tax with cross-functional collaboration and ongoing professional growth.

Qualifications

• Real tax experience: at least three years in public accounting tax with end-to-end return work.
• Individual and closely held business returns experience.
• Excel power-user: formulas, lookups, pivots, data cleanup.
• Remote-work capable with Pacific Time availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare federal, state, and local returns for individuals and closely held entities.
• Build clean, reviewer-ready workpapers with clear support and tie-outs.
• Connect practice, real estate, and individual filings so all returns tell the same story.
• Reconcile balance-sheet accounts, retained earnings, fixed assets, and payroll items.
• Enter and validate tax data in UltraTax CS or similar software.
• Identify missing info, inconsistencies, and potential deadline risks early.
• Assist with extensions, estimates, e-filing, and notices.
