Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to lead Edifecs platforms remotely for the VA program. The role focuses on stability, security, and scalable architecture in a healthcare EDI environment.

The candidate will oversee architecture decisions, cloud strategies, and integration tasks, partnering with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient Edifecs operations and compliant workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience with EDIFECS architecture and transaction lifecycles.
• Proficiency in AWS cloud environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Hands-on understanding of Edifecs platform components (XEServer, XEngine, TPMs, SpecBuilder).

Responsibilities

• Act as Edifecs Platform Manager overseeing the Edifecs app support organization and ensure stability and compliance.
• Provide technical oversight, manage staffing, and drive roadmap execution.
• Collaborate with product, architecture, vendor, and business teams.
• Guide architecture decisions, modernization, and cloud scalability.
• Configure and maintain Edifecs components and related modules.
• Support EDI analysts with rule deployment and batch workflows.
