Job summary

GDH is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer / Solution Architect to lead mission-critical software architecture in a federal government environment. You will analyze requirements, design interfaces, and support security and compliance across DoD standards.

Responsibilities include ITSR development, SA/SE lifecycle support, and documentation of enterprise solutions using UAF/DoDAF/SysML. Remote work within the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• Requires 10+ years in roles related to systems engineering or software architecture.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II cert (Security+ CE, CySA+, or CCNA Security).
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs, JSON/XML, TLS, and ICAM protocols.
• Familiarity with UAF, DoDAF, SysML using Cameo Systems Modeler.

Responsibilities

• Lead needs analyses and support Initial Technical Solution Reports (ITSRs).
• Conduct Solution Assessments and support lifecycle with SETRs.
• Develop software solution designs, interface requirements, and data-exchange standards.
• Guide requirements development, reviews, and testing activities.
• Promote security standards compliance (FICAM, FIPS 201, NIST SP 800-series, PKI, OSDP).
