Spectra Tech, Inc. is urgently hiring for several Senior Structural Engineers.

The role focuses on performing Engineer of Record duties, designing and documenting structural systems, and interfacing with clients to deliver solutions in a nuclear/DOE environment. The ideal candidate brings 10+ years of post-education experience, a BS in Structural or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited school, and experience with DOE/NRC standards.

Qualifications

• Sole U.S. citizenship is required to comply with government requirements.
• Ability to obtain DOE Q clearance.
• BS in Structural or Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited school.
• Nuclear/DOE experience.
• 10+ years post-education experience.
• PE or SE license preferred, with ability to obtain additional state licenses.

Responsibilities

• Perform Engineer of Record (EOR) duties as assigned.
• Design and fully document structural systems.
• Interface with client counterparts (virtually and on-site) to develop project solutions.
• Integrate with multidisciplinary teams (Mechanical, Electrical, Architecture, Civil, Document Control, Project Controls, etc.).
• Estimate, schedule, and track projects for cost and schedule performance.
