Qualifications

• 5+ years of statistical and data regulatory reporting in the P&C insurance industry.
• Experience with statistical agencies and bureaus reporting.
• Strong analytical and detail-oriented with tight deadlines.
• Proficiency in MS Office; comfortable with remote counterparty systems.
• Excellent communication; ability to mentor and train others.
• Self-starter capable of independent project execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead timely submission of data calls and regulatory data to state departments, bureaus and agencies.
• Interpret and apply regulatory reporting requirements and changes.
• Provide technical advice, training and awareness on regulatory reporting to internal and external partners.
• Determine regulatory data elements for new product offerings and ensure collection.
• Serve as liaison for external regulatory inquiries and internal teams; implement corrective actions.
• Integrate data from multiple sources to produce required reports and resolve variances.
• Champion change by refining manual processes and integrating technology.
• Ensure detailed procedures for data calls and reports are maintained and updated.
• Develop, train and mentor staff; oversee staff allocations and cross-training.
• Identify improvement opportunities and drive efficiency projects.
• Manage User Acceptance Testing for the Statistical Reporting team.
• Lead ad-hoc projects and perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
• Maintain organized files for all work products.
