Job summary

Alkami is seeking a Sr. Staff Software Engineer, CXG, to lead and contribute to scalable production systems for our digital banking platform.

This remote-first role supports US teams and partners, focusing on design, development, and on-call incident response. You will design architectures, mentor engineers, and drive feature delivery across microservices, React/Angular front-ends, Java or C#, and cloud infrastructure on AWS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 years in software development; or 8 years with an advanced degree.
• Excellent programming skills in an object-oriented language such as Java or C#, with full-stack experience.
• Strong experience with modern Javascript frameworks like React and Angular, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with mobile app development using Native SDK or Flutter.
• In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle and cloud-native infrastructure.
• Experience building and deploying microservices and API-first architectures.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Deliver scalable, fault-tolerant production applications.
• Lead code/design reviews and sprint planning.
• Mentor engineers and drive architectural decisions.
• Address on-call incidents and postmortems.
• Collaborate with product owners to define features and roadmaps.
