Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer to provide technical leadership across multiple teams and drive the design and execution of complex, cross-cutting engineering initiatives. As a Staff engineer you will shape architecture, raise the engineering bar, and mentor senior engineers, while reviewing code and designs to ensure quality and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS or related field.
• Eight+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proven track record of leading cross-team engineering initiatives.
• Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms, or large-scale data systems.
• Strong programming skills in at least one major backend language.
• Excellent system-design and architecture skills.
• Demonstrated mentorship and technical leadership of senior engineers.
• Strong understanding of operational excellence, reliability, and observability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Track record of influencing engineering culture and standards.
