Job summary

PandaDoc is seeking Site Reliability Engineers to ensure reliable service with minimal downtime across production systems. You will own incident management, maintain observability tools, and contribute to proactive performance improvements.

Expect on-call rotations, automation development, and close collaboration with product engineers to foster SRE practices. Strong Python/Java, AWS, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, and messaging experience are required.

Qualifications

• Solid programming experience in Python (Django/AsyncIO) or Java (Spring Boot).
• Experience with observability tools and production Python services.
• Strong AWS and Kubernetes experience and relational databases (PostgreSQL) with messaging (RabbitMQ/NATS/Kafka).
• On-call SRE background; ownership and strong communication are essential.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end incident management process.
• Maintain and evolve on-prem observability stack.
• Keep production apps running via on-call rotation.
• Develop automations and tooling for platform reliability.
• Contribute to production services with performance and resiliency in mind.
• Collaborate with product engineers to promote SRE principles.
• Mentor SREs and product engineers.
