Job summary

STACK IT Recruitment Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own the AWS infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and data systems behind a consumer app.

You will lead reliability, security and cost initiatives while collaborating with backend engineers as the product adds AI features. The role requires hands-on expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, and IaC, plus strong programming and communication skills to influence architecture and incident response.

Qualifications

• Own and manage production AWS infrastructure with focus on reliability, security and cost
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform and Kubernetes
• Advance CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows for safe, fast deployments
• Strengthen observability, incident response and post-incident improvements
• Plan capacity, failure and recovery for production readiness
• Manage shared data infra (PostgreSQL on RDS, Redis, Elasticsearch) and tune performance

Responsibilities

• Own the company’s AWS infrastructure end to end, improving reliability, scalability, security, performance and cost efficiency
• Design, build, and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and manage Kubernetes environments and containerized workloads
• Evolve CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation and developer workflows for safe, efficient shipping
• Strengthen observability, alerting and incident response, leading investigations and preventing recurrence
• Plan for capacity, failure and recovery and drive production readiness across systems
• Operate and modernize data infrastructure (PostgreSQL, Redis, Elasticsearch) including backups and migrations
