Job summary

Lawelawe Defense Inc is seeking a remote Senior Software Engineer to lead software development, bridging product needs and technical execution. You will guide code reviews, architecture decisions, and API design while collaborating with project teams across the organization.

The role requires 10+ years in software engineering, a security clearance, and strong experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD, and modern web stacks (C#, ASP.NET, .NET 6+, Blazor, JavaScript, NodeJS, Angular).

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Software Engineer experience or equivalent.
• MS or BA/BS with extensive software development background.
• Active CompTIA Security+ or IAT level II certification required.
• Secret security clearance and US citizenship are required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, .NET 6+, Blazor, JavaScript, NodeJS and Angular.
• Strong debugging and problem solving abilities.
• Experience with test automation tools like Selenium, Playwright, Cypress.

Responsibilities

• Understand client and server side architecture and configuration.
• Develop and manage robust applications.
• Design and implement effective APIs.
• Test software for responsiveness and efficiency.
• Create test cases and demos for QA and customers per Agile practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade software.
• Address issues from vulnerability scans and remediation.
• Document development per industry standards.
• Produce technical documentation.
• Collaborate with customers to improve software.
• Contribute actively to the Agile development process.
