24-MAG LLC is seeking experienced Senior Software Engineers for an AI evaluation project. You will contribute to reinforcement learning environments and feature-rich code across Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C, and TypeScript, focusing on performance and robust design.

This is an independent contractor, fully remote role with an expected commitment of about 15 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $50 to $100 per hour, paid per task that meets project specifications.

Qualifications

• Significant professional software-engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in at least one of Python3, Java, Rust, Go, C, or TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of algorithms and data structures.
• Strong command of software-engineering fundamentals.
• Proven ability to debug complex systems and resolve difficult defects.

Responsibilities

• Develop reinforcement learning environments for AI evaluation.

• Debug complex defects and ensure correctness and reliability.
• Refactor legacy code to improve structure and maintainability.
