Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Smartsheet Developer III to design, develop, and deploy complex Smartsheet-based solutions for the Senior Manager, Technology Systems & Automation. You will translate business needs into scalable workflows, dashboards, and automated processes, leveraging Python, APIs, and modern automation tools.

As the Sr. Developer, you will lead architecture, governance, and best practices while mentoring junior developers and ensuring security, data integrity, and enterprise standards

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience developing Smartsheet solutions.
• Advanced knowledge of Smartsheet platform capabilities (Control Center, Data Shuttle, WorkApps, Dynamic View, DataMesh, dashboards, reports, forms, and workflow automation).
• Advanced proficiency in Python for automation, scripting, API integrations, and data transformation.
• Experience designing and supporting integrations between Smartsheet and enterprise systems.
• Experience utilizing Azure DevOps or similar tools for Agile project management, backlog management, and solution lifecycle support preferred.
• Strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, web services, and systems integration concepts.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and consulting skills.
• Smartsheet certification(s) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Smartsheet solution design, development, testing, deployment, and support across multiple functions.
• Consult with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop scalable technical solutions.
• Design, develop, and support advanced sheets, dashboards, WorkApps, forms, and automated workflows.
• Develop reusable frameworks, templates, and standards for enterprise-wide consistency.
• Design and support integrations between Smartsheet and enterprise systems using Python, APIs, and automation tools.
• Manage backlogs, requirements, and development activities using Azure DevOps and Agile methodologies.
