Placements24 is seeking a Lead SEO Specialist to drive organic growth for a fully remote, globally focused online media brand. You will own advanced SEO strategies, lead technical audits, and mentor a team of SEO professionals across markets.

The role requires 7–8+ years of experience, expert technical knowledge, and strong leadership and communication skills to influence stakeholders and guide content, development, and marketing teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, CS, Statistics, or related field; Master's preferred.
• 7-8+ years of progressive SEO experience with leadership and technical focus.
• Proven success in achieving significant organic growth on large websites.
• Expert knowledge of technical SEO including JavaScript SEO, schema, Core Web Vitals, migrations.
• Proficient with a wide range of SEO tools and analytics platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Leadership, communication, and presentation abilities.
• Ability to work autonomously in a remote environment.
• Experience managing SEO for multiple international markets is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement advanced, data-driven SEO strategies to increase organic traffic and rankings.
• Lead comprehensive technical SEO audits: architecture, crawlability, indexability, site speed, mobile-friendliness.
• Conduct keyword research, competitive analysis, and trend analysis to inform strategy.
• Oversee on-page and off-page optimization, content optimization, internal linking, backlinks.
• Utilize tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog) to monitor performance and opportunities.
• Analyze search data, user behavior, and conversions to provide strategic recommendations.
• Stay current with SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices.
• Mentor junior specialists and collaborate with content, dev, and marketing teams.
• Develop and maintain documentation for SEO best practices.
