Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally in an agency setting with multiple active clients.
• Proven track record of delivering measurable organic growth with first-party data.
• Strong working knowledge of GA4, GSC, Ahrefs or SEMrush.
• Experience implementing metadata, schema, redirects and internal linking across various sites.
• Ability to translate SEO strategy into client-ready recommendations and roadmaps.
• Experience overseeing execution teams (specialists, writers, link builders).
• Excellent communication and collaboration in a remote team environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead organic search strategy for all SEO clients across multiple industries.
• Join sales calls to validate scope, pitch recommendations and help close deals.
• Build growth roadmaps covering technical SEO, on-page, content and link acquisition.
• Translate complex SEO concepts for executives in plain language.
• Conduct in-depth technical audits and keyword opportunity mapping.
• Oversee CMS updates (WordPress), meta tags, headers, alt text, and schema.
• Create SEO briefs and content outlines for writers and review drafts.
• Manage and improve local SEO for clients with physical locations.
• Research backlink opportunities and support execution with partners.
• Own client performance and ensure alignment to traffic and revenue goals.
• Stay updated on Google algo changes and adjust strategy accordingly.
• Provide weekly direction and QA for deliverables from the team.
