Job summary

Oshi Health is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to own the security of our remote-first, cloud-native healthcare platform. You will shape security architecture, harden identity and secrets management, and integrate security into our CI/CD and AI workflows from the start.

This hands-on role requires 6+ years in security engineering, strong AWS security experience, and a pragmatic approach to risk. You’ll collaborate with engineering and product teams to protect PHI and enable safe innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years in security engineering with cloud experience (AWS).
• Hands-on with SDLC tooling including SAST/DAST and CodeQL.
• Strong IAM knowledge (OAuth/OIDC, SAML) and non-human identities.

Responsibilities

• Own application and product security, focusing on access control and secrets exposure.
• Design security architecture for agentic SDLC and AI workflows.
• Manage non-human identity and secrets at scale across SaaS and AWS.
• Secure AWS environment end-to-end including IAM, logging, encryption.
• Enforce security tooling (CodeQL, secret scanning, CODEOWNERS).
• Review AI/third-party integrations touching PHI and assess data flows.
