Job summary

Oshi Health in the United States seeks a Director of IT & Security to own security across a fully remote, cloud-native healthcare platform. This hands-on role focuses on architecture, identity/secrets, and embedding security into engineering and AI workflows from day one.

You will drive threat modeling, secure design reviews, AWS security, and non-human identity at scale, balancing risk and technical tradeoffs for engineers and executives alike.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security engineering with depth in application/product and cloud security.
• Experience with healthcare, fintech, or other regulated, data-sensitive environments is a plus.
• Familiarity with securing AI/LLM and agentic systems: prompt injection, agent authorization, and model risk.

Responsibilities

• Own application and product security, including threat modeling and secure code reviews.
• Design and own security architecture for a cloud-native platform (AWS).
• Build and run non-human identity and secrets management at scale.
• Secure AWS environment across IAM, networking, logging, encryption, and workloads.
• Enforce security tooling (GitHub Advanced Security, CODEOWNERS) for sensitive paths.
• Review AI and third-party vendor integrations touching PHI for data flows and retention.
• Lead vulnerability management and drive findings to closure.
