Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior SDET specializing in Playwright and Selenium to design, implement, and scale test automation across multiple web applications. You will join the Quality Engineering team and collaborate with stakeholders to ensure test coverage and high-quality delivery.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium test automation.
• Proficiency in Java for test automation framework development and maintenance.
• Experience with automation tools such as AccelQ, Cypress, and Cucumber.
• Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks using Playwright, Selenium for web application testing.
• Build and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test automation solutions across multiple applications and platforms.
• Integrate automated test suites with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing.
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and partner with development teams to drive resolution.
• Improve automation coverage, framework reusability, testing efficiency, and quality metrics through continuous process improvements.
