Job summary

Thrivent is seeking a Senior Salesforce Engineer to design, implement, and maintain enterprise Salesforce solutions (Sales Cloud and Service Cloud). You will develop Apex, Lightning Web Components, and integrations, partner with architects, and lead technical discussions to ensure quality, security, and scalability.

You will collaborate across product, engineering, and business stakeholders, driving DevOps improvements, CI/CD, and robust testing.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a Salesforce engineering environment.
• Deep expertise in Salesforce Sales Cloud and Service Cloud.
• Apex development and JavaScript/LWC/Visualforce skills.
• Experience with REST, SOAP, and event-driven integrations.
• Experience with Salesforce configuration and automation (Flow, Data Loader).
• Extensive integration experience with enterprise tech (Java, REST/SOAP, OpenShift, Docker, messaging).
• CI/CD and DevOps tooling proficiency (VS Code/IntelliJ, Salesforce CLI, Git, GitHub Actions, Jira).
• Strong cross-team collaboration with product owners and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement Salesforce solutions aligned with enterprise strategies.
• Develop, test, and maintain Apex, LWC, Flows, and integrations.
• Conduct unit, integration, and performance testing and fix issues.
• Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and peers.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, and other teams.
• Improve CI/CD, DevOps practices, and engineering standards.
• Support observability, monitoring, and incident response.
