Tripoint Solutions LLC is seeking an experienced Senior Python Developer to support a federal government contract. The role focuses on building, maintaining, and enhancing software that handles citizen-submitted reports with secure, scalable Python-based web applications.

You will work in a cross-functional Agile team to deliver reliable digital services, collaborating with data scientists and engineers while ensuring accessibility, security, and quality throughout the software lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Experience with Django and Flask and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux and Git.
• Experience deploying on AWS or similar cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using Python, Django, and Flask.
• Implement enhancements and new features to improve performance and usability.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues via debugging and monitoring.
• Maintain and update dependencies to meet security and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with product owners, designers, and engineers to deliver solutions incrementally.
• Develop and maintain automated tests for reliability and maintainability.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
• Create technical documentation and ensure accessibility and security standards.
