The American Heart Association is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Mission Advancement Operations. The role leads planning, implementation, and performance reporting for a broad portfolio within Mission Advancement Operations.

This delivery-focused position may be home-based and reports to the National VP of Development Operations. The department handles revenue development from individuals, foundations, and government funding, with a strong focus on operational infrastructure,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum five (5) years of management experience in the nonprofit setting.
• Experience leading complex, cross-functional programs or projects from planning to execution to final reporting.
• Experience translating a senior leader’s vision and priorities into implementation plans, coordinated workstreams, and measurable results.
• Experience applying project management, operational improvement, and change enablement practices.
• Demonstrated ability to establish structure, clarify ownership, manage dependencies, drive accountability, and advance work through completion.
