Amgen Inc. is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Global Medical Affairs specialized in Rare Disease and General Medicine. You will shape Medical Strategy for global and regional teams, including Rare Disease programs, ensuring integration with global partnerships and cross-functional partners.

This role emphasizes operational excellence and strategic collaboration across a global matrix. You will drive medical plan development, budgeting, and milestone tracking, leveraging emerging technologies

Qualifications

• Doctorate or equivalent with 2+ years of PM experience (or Master’s with 4+; or Bachelor’s with 6+; or Associate with 10+; or HS diploma with 12+ years of PM experience).
• Experience in pharmaceutical/biotech or regulated environments preferred.
• Experience supporting Global Medical Affairs, Medical Operations, Finance or cross-functional product teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and align medical plans with global, regional and local Medical teams.
• Drive execution of the Medical Plan, milestones and budget tracking.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (EGT, regional teams) to ensure strategy is integrated.
• Identify risks, issues and dependencies; enable resolution and escalation when needed.
• Support resource, financial and capacity planning with Medical Operations and Finance.
• Incorporate emerging technologies and AI tools to improve planning and reporting.
