Stryker Corporation is seeking a process engineer to lead design, development, and validation for new product introductions and transfers within the Advanced Operations team in Michigan.

You will refine manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical assembly including PCBs, soldering, potting, injection molding, and manual assembly while coordinating with internal and contract manufacturers to meet quality, cost, and production targets.

Competenze

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical/Mechatronics/Mechanical) preferred.
• Minimum 4 years of manufacturing/process engineering or R&D experience.
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles applied to manufacturing or product development.
• Experience supporting manufacturing processes or engineering projects.
• Experience designing or supporting electronics manufacturing (PCBs, cables, etc.).
• Experience reading schematics, CAD drawings, and product architecture drawings.
• Experience with manufacturing test methods (in-circuit, functional, safety).
• Experience in regulated industries with statistics, validation, or DFM methodologies.

• Lead process design, development, and validation for new product introductions and product sustenance initiatives.
• Develop and refine manufacturing processes for electro-mechanical assembly including PCBs, soldering, potting, injection molding, pressing, torquing, and manual assembly operations.
• Partner with internal and contract manufacturers to implement manufacturing solutions that support quality, cost, and production requirements.
• Create, review, and release technical documentation, manufacturing requirements, validation protocols, and engineering change documentation.
• Conduct process validation activities, capability studies, process risk assessments, control plans, and inspection documentation for product launches and transfers.
• Analyze equipment and process performance through testing, data collection, and statistical methods to identify and implement improvements.
• Lead or support equipment acquisition projects, including specification development, supplier coordination, installation, qualification, and validation.
• Collaborate with quality, manufacturing, supplier, and engineering teams to establish testing protocols, review designs, build prototypes, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality requirements.
