Job summary

Stryker in Portage, MI is hiring a Senior Design Quality Engineer (Software/Electrical). You will support quality for new product development, partner with R&D, operations, suppliers, and regulatory, and drive risk management, design verification, validation, cybersecurity, and process controls.

You will also support post-market quality activities and contribute to design transfers to manufacturing. Strong collaboration across cross-functional teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in software/electrical/computer engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in quality, manufacturing, new product development, software, electrical engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Partner with R&D to ensure software and electrical designs meet safety, reliability, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Lead risk management activities and develop risk management plans and reports.
• Implement cybersecurity best practices and address security-related risks in product design.
• Assist in design reviews and track how design features mitigate risks throughout development.
• Lead design validation activities including usability engineering.
