Job summary

EtiVenture Analytics is seeking a Senior Power BI Developer to translate business needs into actionable data visualizations. You will profile data, gather requirements, and deliver reports using MS Power BI for clients while coordinating with business users and management.

This long-term, remote US-based role requires SQL, data warehousing concepts (Kimball), and SDLC/AGILE discipline, with a collaborative mindset and strong documentation skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum three (3) years' experience writing SQL.
• Ability to work with business users and management to understand the business need for data, profiling, exploration and reporting
• Experience working with: RDBMS, ETL and reporting tools.
• Experience with BI visualization tools, preferably MS Power BI.
• Understanding of Data Warehousing concepts and experience in creating data warehouse schemas with Kimball methodology.
• Solid understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and version/source control disciplines
• Understanding in working in an Agile Project Development team
• Must be able to define functional and technical docs based on data availability, quality and profiling on source data systems.
• The ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Understand complex logic and solve data issues by coming up with sound technical solutions.
