Job summary

Talanto is seeking a Staff Product Manager to own the end-to-end deposit product for its growing fintech platform. You’ll lead cross‑functional teams across Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Banking to launch a consumer deposit product, ensure regulatory readiness, and integrate with the broader credit and consumer experience.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of product management experience.
• Experience launching a regulated consumer-facing product in financial services with go-to-market experience.
• Proven program leadership at scale—high-visibility cross-functional launches with leadership exposure.
• Strong technical fluency—comfortable with system design, data models, API architecture, and core banking integrations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication for diverse audiences including regulators and executives.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted tools (e.g., Claude, Cursor) to accelerate work.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the single-threaded product owner across deposits, loan originations, banking compliance and operations.
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Marketing, Branding, Content, and Design to shape the deposit experience and GTM strategy.
• Own the roadmap for the deposit product from launch to scale and integration with credit products.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to align on launch vision.
• Partner with Legal, Compliance, Risk, and executive teams to drive regulatory readiness and vendor integration.
• Communicate strategy and tradeoffs to senior leadership and the Bank Board.
