Job summary

GE Aerospace seeks a senior architect/engineer to oversee data source mapping, data movement, interfaces and analytics within PLM systems. You will lead multi-team discussions, develop roadmaps for PLM/MDM platforms, and contribute to service-oriented data delivery platforms with reusable components.

You will mentor teams, evaluate emerging technologies, and align projects with business goals while managing budget considerations. This role is US-based and may involve remote collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with multiple paths to experience (5, 8 or 10 years).
• Minimum 5 years in Application Engineering.
• Military experience counts as experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads and coordinates domain discussions across teams and future design direction.
• Analyzes designs and develops roadmaps and implementation plans for PLM/MDM platforms.
• Oversees domain-level design reviews across teams; contributes to governance models.
• Leads evaluation of emerging tech to support multiple teams and complex scenarios.
• Mentors others and provides technology guidance across the domain.
• Partners with business leaders to align projects with goals and justify budget.
• Hands-on to build POC’s using emerging tech and enterprise patterns.
