Kairos Power is seeking a Senior Platform Security and Reliability Engineer to own security baseline and reliability for cloud and HPC platforms. You will implement controls, automation, and recovery, spanning AWS and Google Cloud, IAM, machine image security, and observability.

This hands-on role drives cost visibility, guardrails, and incident response. You will lead security and reliability initiatives, migrate workloads, and mentor engineers, delivering simple, robust architectures aligned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in platform, infra, cloud, security, or SRE.
• Strong AWS experience and Linux administration.
• Experience designing and operating automation, monitoring, and incident-response capabilities.
• Knowledge of IAM, secrets, vulnerability management, and security monitoring.

Responsabilités

• Define service health indicators and objectives for platform services.
• Engineer automated recovery and self-healing for outages.
• Own backup, restoration, and disaster recovery processes.
• Lead incident response and root-cause analysis with blameless post-incident reviews.
• Build and maintain observability and monitoring for security-relevant events.
