Job summary

Stacklok is building Kubernetes-native infrastructure to run and govern AI agents securely at scale. As a Senior Engineer on the core platform team, you design and build major parts of the platform and own them from design through production, often in customers' Kubernetes environments.

You will mentor engineers and influence product direction while collaborating with open-source contributors. You will contribute to ToolHive and Stacklok Enterprise, shape architecture with a strong customer

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Go with production-grade distributed systems experience.
• Hands-on Kubernetes deployment in production across clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Mentor engineers, lead code reviews, raise engineering standards.
• Direct customer onboarding experience, debugging in customer environments.
• AI-first mindset; integrate AI tools for repeatable velocity gains.

Responsibilities

• Own design and implementation of platform subsystems end-to-end.
• Write production Go code that runs in customer Kubernetes environments with observability.
• Make design tradeoffs with product and engineering leadership and mentor others.
• Work with customers to operationalize the Enterprise Platform and iterate on feedback.
• Contribute to open-source ToolHive and collaborate with the community.
• Apply AI-assisted workflows and improve tooling to speed engagements.
