Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Senior Managing Counsel-Pharmacy Network Operations to partner with business leaders in a remote US-based role, focusing on contracting, reimbursement, and regulatory matters affecting pharmacy network performance.

This attorney will lead a team of attorneys, guide legal strategy for network operations, and provide practical, strategic advice that supports compliance, transformation, and business execution across the organization.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• 10+ years of legal experience with healthcare regulatory and transactional matters.
• 6+ years of direct PBM legal experience supporting pharmacy benefit management operations.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience managing attorneys or legal professionals.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state healthcare laws, including the Anti-Kickback Statute and HIPAA.
• Proven ability to provide strategic, business-focused legal advice.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of attorneys supporting pharmacy network operations.
• Serve as the primary legal advisor for pharmacy network operations strategy.
• Provide daily legal counsel on contracting, reimbursement, and regulatory compliance.
• Advise on laws impacting pharmacy benefit management and pharmacy networks.
• Draft and negotiate complex healthcare agreements.
• Collaborate with business leaders on strategic initiatives and organizational transformations.
• Mentor and develop attorneys while fostering a high-performing team culture.
