Job summary

Threshold Communications in Seattle is seeking a Senior Network Engineer with extensive telecom/networking expertise to design, deploy, and support a highly available IP/BGP network across our Seattle and broader Puget Sound footprint. This primarily remote role requires occasional travel to Seattle data centers and customer sites.

You will configure routers, switches, firewalls, implement DIA and WAN services, maintain Zero Trust and SASE security, and mentor teammates while delivering

Qualifications

• Eight or more years of industry experience as a Network Engineer, Network Administrator, or in a comparable networking role.
• Telecommunications industry experience is strongly preferred.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot a highly available IP/BGP telecommunications network.
• Configure and install routers, switches, firewalls, and related network devices.
• Monitor key network indicators, including performance, device health, availability, status, and integrity.
• Manage and maintain security suites and related services, including Zero Trust and SASE.
