Job summary

Moniepoint Inc. is seeking a senior full-stack engineer to join our remote team. You will build scalable backend services with Node.js and TypeScript while delivering polished frontend interfaces that power financial services used by millions.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years of software development experience, 5+ years MERN stack, strong OOP skills, and proficiency with React, Express, Git, and databases like MySQL or Mongo. We value builders with strong communication.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years as Software Developer/Engineer or similar role.
• 5+ years MERN stack experience.
• 2+ years OOP using Java, C#, or similar.
• Familiar with Agile development practices.
• Experience with TS/JS, React, Node, Express, Git.
• Experience with MySQL and MongoDB, ORM.

Responsibilities

• Design algorithms and flowcharts with the team.
• Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications.
• Integrate software components and third-party programs.
• Verify and deploy programs and systems.
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software.
• Gather and evaluate user feedback.
• Recommend and execute improvements.
• Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
