Job summary

ACT is seeking a Senior Work Ready Community Development Manager to lead employer engagement and community certification efforts across the Midwest. This remote role is based in the United States and focuses on growing ACT WorkKeys programs and partnerships.

You will build relationships with chambers of commerce and economic development partners, expand WorkKeys licenses, and drive program adoption nationwide, with 30-50% travel as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in account management, business development, or economic development with growth outcomes.
• Experience managing a portfolio of accounts or community/government partnerships.
• Track record selling workforce, education, or credentialing solutions to employers or workforce organizations.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage an active pipeline of employer relationships within assigned communities.
• Establish relationships with chambers of commerce and economic development organizations.
• Own a portfolio of WRC communities and track progress in CRM.
• Drive expansion of WorkKeys licenses, assessments, and credentials.
• Connect communities to federal and state workforce funding streams.
