Job summary

Relation Insurance, Inc. in Overland Park, KS is seeking a Senior Manager, Variable Compensation to lead and govern variable pay programs across automated and manual workflows.

You will act as the senior escalation point for complex compensation issues and partner with Sales, Finance, and Operations to ensure accurate, timely payouts and compliant processes. The role requires substantial experience in variable compensation, strong analytical abilities, and leadership skills to drive process

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in variable compensation, commissions administration, financial analysis, accounting operations, or related analytical work.
• Minimum of 3 years leading teams in a compensation, finance, or operational environment.
• Strong knowledge of commission and incentive calculations, reconciliations, reporting, plan administration, and controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance and operations of variable compensation programs across automated and manual workflows.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex compensation issues.
• Oversee acquisition readiness and integration related to compensation.
• Review monthly variable compensation calculations, reconciliations and payouts across workstreams.
• Partner with Sales and Finance to implement and communicate plans and memos.
