Job summary

The American Cancer Society, Inc. seeks a Sr. Manager Market, Events to lead the strategy, planning, and execution of a $400,000+ event fundraising portfolio across Volusia & Flagler Counties.

This position is home-based with residency required in Volusia or Flagler. You will build donor and sponsor relationships, manage budgets and logistics, and coordinate volunteers to deliver high-impact events that grow revenue, participation, and donor engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; relevant fundraising experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of successful fundraising and relationship development experience.
• Strong donor and sponsor engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of event fundraising activities, including logistics, budgets, vendor coordination, and experience delivery.
• Build relationships with donors, sponsors, volunteers, and community partners to achieve revenue goals.
• Grow revenue, participation, and donor pipeline; align participants to broader engagement opportunities.
• Monitor performance against goals; adjust strategies to optimize revenue and ROI.
• Coordinate cross-functional partners to ensure event delivery and brand alignment.
