Job summary

Palmetto Clean Technology is seeking a senior data engineering leader to head the data platform, enabling product, finance, operations, and AI tools with a unified view of customer data. You will own architecture, secure access, governance, and the end-to-end data supply chain from ingestion to production analytics.

• Experience leading data engineering teams and delivering data platform projects.
• Strong background in data architecture, modeling, and governance.
• Fluency with SQL and modern data tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and grow the data engineering team; hire and develop engineers.
• Set the data roadmap aligned with company goals; manage cross-team projects.
• Own data architecture, ingestion, modeling, semantic layer, and governance.
• Ensure reliable data pipelines with clear SLAs and auditable data lineage.
• Oversee secure access paths, APIs, and vendor management.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, sales, marketing, and product.
