Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Real Estate Lending, Loan Closing/Servicing/Processing and/or Financial Services
• High School Diploma or GED with 8 years of experience in Real Estate Lending, Loan Closing/Servicing/Processing and/or Financial Services
• Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
• Preferred Area of Experience: Affordable Housing, Banking, Legal Document Review/ Negotiation, Budget Review, Loan Operations, and in-depth knowledge of Community Development Finance (CDF) to include closing and servicing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor receipt of loan documentation and closing due diligence; track deal status.
• Set up and maintain all credit and loan files for accessibility and audits.
• Review legal documentation prepared by outside counsel and ensure compliance with terms and regulatory requirements.
• Review and approve deal insurance certificates and bonds; review formation documents and KYC materials.
• Complete annual special projects to improve closing efficiency and streamline procedures.
• Primary point of contact for closing-related inquiries; mentor junior staff and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
