Job summary

Quantum Minds is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support a modern analysis pipeline with compiler tooling, program analysis, fuzzing, and automation. Remote contract role in the US, full-time, with an emphasis on preparing the codebase for open-source release.

You’ll work on LLVM IR generation, metadata, and pass development, plus fuzzing harnesses and campaigns. The role requires strong C/C++ skills, LLVM experience, and Python tooling, with open-source readiness as a key objective.

Qualifications

• Strong C/C++ systems engineering.
• Hands-on LLVM IR + pass development.
• Fuzzing + sanitizers experience.
• Crash analysis + software-security fundamentals.
• Python + Git workflows.
• Microsoft ecosystem experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• LLVM IR generation and metadata work.
• LLVM pass development including IR cleanup and MMIO handling.
• Develop and run fuzzing harnesses and campaigns (libFuzzer, AFL++, Honggfuzz).
• Crash triage, deduplication and automated reporting.
• Python tooling and CI improvements.
• Contribute to open-source readiness (licensing, reproducible builds, repo migration).
