Job summary

Kane Partners LLC is seeking a senior Linux administrator to own a 24/7 ERP environment and related infrastructure. You will manage Red Hat Linux across physical and virtual platforms, oversee a MultiValue ERP like Epicor Eclipse, and ensure secure, highly available operations with automation via Bash and Ansible.

You will also handle SQL Server replication, data warehouse integration, storage, backup, and on-call responsibilities, while mentoring teammates and documenting procedures.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive systems administration experience.
• Hands-on experience with Rocket UniVerse, UniData, U2, Pick or another MultiValue database.
• SQL Server replication/ETL experience.
• Bash and Ansible experience.
• Enterprise virtualization and storage experience.
• Strong production troubleshooting skills.
• Epicor Eclipse or another high-volume MultiValue ERP is a major plus.
• Experience with SQL replication, Power BI or SSRS is helpful.
• Rubrik and/or Zerto experience is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration across physical and virtual environments.
• Epicor Eclipse or a similar MultiValue ERP environment management.
• SQL Server replication and integration with a data warehouse.
• Troubleshooting performance, replication, locking and data integrity issues.
• Bash scripting and Ansible automation.
• Backup, disaster recovery, failover and high-availability processes.
• Security, patching, vulnerability remediation and audit requirements.
• Enterprise storage and virtualization management.
• Reporting environments including Power BI and SSRS.
• Technical documentation, runbooks and mentoring.
• Collaboration with infrastructure, applications, networking, cybersecurity and vendors.
• Participation in a shared on-call rotation.
