Job summary

Thoriva, an Infinite Company, is seeking an Enterprise Java Developer to design, develop, and test Java-based enterprise applications and APIs. You will work as an AI-first developer across the full lifecycle, contributing to modernization efforts and DevOps automation.

The role focuses on modern Java, REST APIs, cloud-native architectures, and system integrations in an Agile team. Remote work is supported, with responsibilities spanning code reviews, testing, and performance optimization.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Java development experience.
• Java 17+ (Java 21 preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and support RESTful APIs, microservices, and backend services.
• Participate in modernization initiatives that migrate legacy systems to cloud-native architectures.
• Develop integrations with enterprise platforms, databases, third-party services, and internal systems.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Support application deployments, release activities, and production issue resolution.
• Participate in code reviews and enforce secure coding and development standards.
• Develop unit, integration, and automated tests to improve software quality and reliability.
• Assist with performance tuning, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline development and DevOps automation initiatives.
• Leverage approved AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and code quality.
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.
• Actively evaluate and adopt approved AI-assisted engineering tools and practices to improve developer productivity, accelerate modernization initiatives, enhance test automation, reduce technical debt, and support continuous improvement across the software development lifecycle.
