Job summary

Mosaec is seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer to join a client project. You will design and implement robust backend services using Java and the Spring ecosystem, including Spring Boot and Spring Cloud.

Responsibilities include building RESTful APIs, driving best practices in testing and performance, and deploying to cloud environments with Docker and Kubernetes. You will collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, in CET time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Expert-level Java and core features knowledge.
• Deep expertise with the Spring Framework.
• Experience designing microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts.
• Solid testing knowledge (unit, integration, end-to-end).
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Intermediate-advanced English level.
• Strong communication with technical and non-technical clients.
• Located in CET timezone (+/- 3 hours); no applicants outside this window.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of scalable backend services using Java and Spring (Boot/Cloud).
• Promote coding, testing, security, and performance best practices.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and event-driven architectures.
• Work with cloud environments and container tech (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Diagnose and resolve complex production issues to ensure high availability.
