Job summary

Gift of Hope Organ & Tissue Donor Network is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to plan, develop and directly manage internal communications. You will align messaging with organizational goals, partner with HR and leadership, and drive engagement across leadership and staff.

The role focuses on content for intranet, newsletters, town halls and multimedia formats to inform on benefits, programs, changes and performance, supporting a positive culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism, marketing or related field.
• 5-10 years related experience in journalism, communications, public relations or marketing, healthcare preferred.
• Excellent writing portfolio across platforms with measurable impact.
• Experience with internal communications platforms, CMS and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and manage internal communications to inform and engage staff and leadership.
• Collaborate with HR, senior leadership and committees to reinforce culture and values.
• Lead monthly Town Hall; craft scripts, slides and coordinate rehearsals and recordings.
• Provide strategic comms support for Diversity, Inclusion and engagement initiatives.
• Create and maintain content calendars and internal platforms (intranet, e-newsletters, emails, digital signage).
• Train staff on brand guidelines and use of tools; update Communications Handbook.
• Develop metrics and reports to measure program effectiveness and guide improvements.
• Monitor inquiries and provide timely responses to internal communications channels.
