Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Infrastructure Engineer to lead IAM initiatives using Saviynt in a fully remote role. You’ll design, implement, and optimize enterprise IAM, perform governance, and collaborate across security, IT, and business teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in IAM or cybersecurity, Saviynt expertise, and strong scripting abilities across Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, or SQL. A degree in CS/IS/Cybersecurity or equivalent experience is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in IAM or cybersecurity engineering.
• Bachelor’s in CS/IS/Cybersecurity/SE or 7+ years’ experience without a degree.
• Saviynt Identity Governance experience (≥3 years).
• Proficient in integrating IAM with AD, Azure AD, LDAP, HR systems and cloud apps.
• Strong scripting: Java, JavaScript, PowerShell, Python, or SQL.
• Experience with RBAC, PAM, troubleshooting and root‑cause analysis.
• Ability to work independently and lead complex projects across teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, test, and deploy Saviynt IAM/IGA solutions.
• Build integrations between Saviynt and AD, Azure AD, LDAP, HR systems, and cloud apps.
• Define identity lifecycle processes: provisioning, deprovisioning, roles, reviews.
• Develop software components, workflows, connectors, and APIs.
• Implement automated identity workflows, RBAC, access reviews, and SoD controls.
• Maintain Saviynt security controls and compliance monitoring.
• Analyze security gaps and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Participate in on‑call for incident response and alerting.
• Create dashboards and analytics for identity governance metrics.
• Collaborate with architects, infra teams, and app owners on IAM standards.
• Document designs, standards, and OPs for ongoing maintenance.
• Support audits, assessments, and certification activities with evidence.
